Season 3 of The Social Work Café Podcast is Here!

Hello, and welcome back to The Social Work Café!

I’m Dr. Bernadette Moorhead, and I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Season 3 of our podcast. If you’ve been with us since the beginning, thank you for being part of this journey. And if you’re new here—welcome! You’ve found a space where social workers come together over coffee to share their stories, challenges, and insights.

This season, we’re taking a fresh approach with one big question at the center of our conversations:

"What is one thing about social work that you would change to make it better?"

Social work is a profession driven by liberation and advocacy, but there’s always room for growth and change. Over the next ten episodes, I’ll be sitting down with social workers from diverse fields to explore their unique perspectives on improving our profession.

Normally I prepare questions for the interviews with my guests, but this time I am throwing the script away so we can just focus on seeing where our conversation goes! I think you are going to enjoy the new format.

Through these candid and thought-provoking discussions, we’ll reflect on the changes that could make social work better for practitioners, clients, and communities alike.

So, whether you’re listening on your morning commute, during a coffee break, or while winding down at the end of the day, I invite you to join me. Let’s share a cup of coffee and start a conversation that matters.

Tune in to The Social Work Café Podcast, and let’s make social work better—together.

Episode 1 is out next week.

Happy listening,

Dr. B
